Drain traps for wastewater drainage devices are known, which comprise a drain connection piece (20) having an open upper end (21) for receiving wastewater and an open lower end (20), which opens into a drain body (30) below the upper edge (31) thereof, the drain body (30) forming a seal water reservoir. For better and more hygienic cleaning of the drain trap, according to the invention the drain connection piece (20) is connected to the drain body (30) by means of a connecting device (40) fixedly and without gaps between the drain connection piece (20), connecting device (40) and drain body (30). The drain trap thereby becomes a gap-free part that can be handled in one piece and is easy to clean.
