The main element and the hinge cup are connected together via a lever mechanism. The furniture hinge is configured so that the lever mechanism has at least two levers, each of which is mounted on the hinge cup in a pivotal manner about a pivot axis that is aligned perpendicularly to the pivot axis of the hinge cup and each of which is provided with a toothing that meshes with another toothing arranged in the hinge cup.
