The light source is suspended above the gravesite by means of a base adapted for mounting on a headstone. The base houses a solar powered energy means to power the light source. The light assembly continuously emits a halo and is positioned at a gravesite where it displays the halo to a mourner and thereby causes the mourner to experience an uplifting emotion when visiting the gravesite.
