The scanner scans the volume of a three-dimensional cavity, and the scanner is attached to the multidirectional positioning system. A processor receives volume data of the cavity and stores the volume data in a data storage memory. A material depositing mechanism is attached to the multidirectional positioning system, and the material depositing mechanism is controlled to move with respect to a shape of the cavity based on the volume data stored in the processor so as to fill in the cavity with a filler material.
