The combination of a candle and a security assembly. The candle has a case, bounding a receptacle for a supply of wax, with a main body and a neck. The neck defines an opening into the receptacle. The case defines a shoulder facing in a first direction. The security assembly is configured to be placed in first and second different states. The security assembly in the first state is configured to be directed through the neck generally in the first direction up to and past the shoulder into a securing position. The security assembly in the first state and securing position is changeable into the second state wherein the security assembly is blocked by the shoulder from being moved generally oppositely to the first direction through the neck to be separated from the case.
