SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR MONITORING ACCESS TO A SECURED AREA
Systems and methods for monitoring access to a secured area are disclosed. A moveable barrier proximate to an entry point to the secured area may obstruct entry to the secured area or permit access thereto. The barrier may be used in conjunction with one or more sensors that are each capable of detecting metallic objects. In response to determining that a metallic object does not satisfy one or more access parameters, the barrier may be caused to block access to the secured area. The one or more sensors may be in communication with a logic controller that permits a user at a human-machine interface to reset or reconfigure each of the one or more sensors.
