The present invention discloses a locking structure for a carriage cover. The carriage cover includes at least two foldable cover panels. The locking structure is fixed to the bottom of the cover panel through a mounting base. The locking structure comprises a gear rotatably mounted on the mounting base, a sliding plate slidably mounted on the mounting base, and a latch slidably mounted on the bottom of the cover panel, the sliding plate being engaged with the gear via toothed portion on its inner side and the latch being connected to the sliding plate via a first connecting piece. The latch has a locked state to extend into carriage frame to limit the folding of the cover panel, and an unlocked state to retract the lock tongue into the mounting base. This increases the stability of the carriage cover in its expanded state and convenience of operation.
