The exterior portion of the lock assembly includes a reinforced chassis with a reinforced lock cylinder bore and an anti-rotation arm to enhance the lock's resistance to attack. The interior portion includes a thumbturn that is physically connected to the gearbox frame for robustness and includes stabilizing detents to improve the user feel. The gearbox frame and mounting bracket are connected with a single screw and spring-loaded latch for ease of assembly.
