The latch assembly comprising a latch selectively engaging the strike, a cam configured to move the latch between an extended position in which the latch engages the strike and a retracted position in which the latch is disengaged from the strike, a biasing member operably coupling the latch with the cam, the biasing member configured to bias the latch toward the extended position, and a first handle proximate an inside of the bed and mechanically linked with the latch, wherein the first handle is configured to move the latch between the extended position and the retracted position.
