Acoustic absorbent wall coating
A multilayer sound-absorbing covering includes (a) a support layer made of a nonwoven based on organic fibers having a tranverse multilobal cross section, (b) a surface layer formed by a glass textile, having a static air flow resistance, measured according to the standard ISO 9053, between 105 N·s·m−4 and 106 N·s·m−4, (c) at the interface between the support layer (a) and the surface layer (b), a discontinuous adhesive layer having a surface density between 17 and 60 g/m2. There is also provided a process for manufacturing such a covering and to the use of such a covering for improving the acoustic comfort of a room or of a building.
