CANOPIES AND CANOPY SUPPORT STRUCTURES
A canopy support structure includes a support pole having a track, a three-dimensional array of hub pairs, and a plurality of articulating arms connecting the hub pairs. The track extends in a longitudinal direction along the support pole. The hubs of each hub pair are movable toward/away from each other during extension/retraction of the canopy support structure. A primary hub pair includes a first hub and a second hub, with each of the first hub and the second hub coupled to the support pole. At least one of the first hub and the second hub is slidably engaged with the track and movable along the support pole. The articulating arms include sets of scissor-connected primary articulating arms. Each of the hub pairs is pivotally connected to at least one other of the hub pairs by a respective set of the scissor-connected primary articulating arms.
L'invention concerne une structure support de marquise qui comprend un piquet support doté d'une rainure, un réseau tridimensionnel de paires de moyeux, et une pluralité de bras articulés reliant les paires de moyeux. La rainure s'étend dans le sens de la longueur sur le piquet support. Les moyeux de chaque paire de moyeux peuvent se rapprocher/s'éloigner l'un de l'autre pendant l'extension/la rétractation de ladite structure support de marquise. Une paire de moyeux primaires comprend un premier et un second moyeu, chacun de ces deux moyeux étant accouplé au piquet support. Le premier et/ou le second moyeu sont en prise avec la rainure pour y coulisser, et sont mobiles le long du piquet support. Les bras articulés comprennent des ensembles de bras articulés primaires reliés en ciseaux. Chacune des paires de moyeux est reliée pivotante à une ou plusieurs autres paires de moyeux par un ou plusieurs des ensembles de bras articulés primaires reliés en ciseaux.
