VERFAHREN UND VORRICHTUNG ZUM HERSTELLEN VON THERMOPLASTISCHEN ABSTANDHALTERN
Beim Herstellen von Isolierglas, umfassend wenigstens zwei Glasscheiben (1) und wenigstens eine zwischen diesen angeordneten Abstandhalter aus thermoplastischem Material wird das Verschließen von Anfang (4) und Ende (5) des Stranges (2) aus thermoplastischem Material das thermoplastische Material mit Hilfe von an die Seitenflächen des Stranges (2) angelegten Backen (20, 21) verpresst. Im Bereich der so gebildeten Stoßstelle zwischen Anfang (4) und Ende (5) des den Abstandhalter bildenden Stranges (2) wird die Breite des Stranges (2) unter Erzeugen einer Vertiefung mit Hilfe eines Druckstempels (22) mit konvex gekrümmter Wirkfläche verkleinert. Durch diese Vertiefung ergibt sich nach dem Zusammenbau eines Isolierglas-Rohlings durch Aufsetzen einer zweiten Glasscheibe auf die freien Ränder des Stranges (2) eine Öffnung, die einen Druckausgleich beim nachfolgenden Verpressen des Isolierglas- Rohlings erlaubt.

This depression has the effect that, after the assembly of an insulating glass blank, placing a second pane of glass onto the free edges of the strand (2) produces an opening that allows a pressure equalization during the subsequent compression of the insulating glass blank.
L'invention concerne la fabrication d'un vitrage isolant comprenant au moins deux vitres (1) et au moins un écarteur composé d'un matériau thermoplastique et agencé entre les deux vitres. La fermeture de l'amorce (4) et de l'extrémité (5) du cordon (2) composé d'un matériau thermoplastique est comprimée au moyen de mâchoires (20, 21) placées sur les surface latérales du cordon (16). Dans la zone du joint ainsi formé entre l'amorce (4) et l'extrémité (5) du cordon (2) formant l'écarteur, la largeur du cordon (2) est réduite par la production d'un creux au moyen d'un poinçon (22) présentant une surface active convexe. Du fait de ce creux, on obtient après l'assemblage d'une ébauche de vitrage isolant par la pose d'une deuxième vitre sur les bords libres du cordon (2) une ouverture qui permet une compensation de la pression lors de la compression ultérieure de l'ébauche de vitrage isolant.
