Die aktive oder nicht aktive Position einer Kindersicherung (6) auch bei Dunkelheit, ist leicht erkennbar, wenn dem Betätigungsknopf (8) der Kindersicherung (6) eine Schaltkennzeichnungsleuchte (15) zugeordnet ist. Diese aus Leuchtdioden (16, 17) bestehende Schaltkennzeichnungsleuchte (15) erleuchtet den gesamten Bereich um die Kindersicherung (6), so dass auch bei ungünstigen Lichtverhältnissen sicher dieses wichtige Bauelement einer Kraftfahrzeugtür (1) zu betätigen und seine Schaltstellung identifizierbar ist.
