DETERMINING RIGHT/LEFT HAND SIDE DOOR INSTALLATION
A method is provided for determining right or hand side door installation. A drive shaft of the door lock mechanism is rotated with the bolt in a clock wise direction or a counter-clock wise direction. The rotation continues until there is sufficient extension of the bolt to provide for a lock position of an associated door.
La présente invention concerne un procédé permettant de déterminer l'installation d'une porte à droite ou à gauche. Selon le procédé, un arbre d'entraînement du mécanisme de verrouillage de porte est entraîné en rotation avec la targette dans le sens horaire ou dans le sens anti-horaire. La rotation se poursuit jusqu'à ce qu'il y ait suffisamment d'extension de la targette, pour fournir une position de verrouillage d'une porte associée.
