SKYLIGHT WITH MANUAL CLOSING FEATURE
A skylight or roof hatch that is manually opened and closed. The skylight has one or more hinges allowing it to open and close and it also has one more gas springs that exerts constant force against the window urging the window into an open position. The window is closed to overcome the biasing force exerted by gas springs by winding in a cable that is connected to the window. A single pulley wheel that is mechanically linked to other mechanical elements is utilized to spool in cable in order to close the window and to unlock a reel lock to allow for automatic opening of the window.
Cette invention concerne une tabatière ou trappe de toit qui est ouverte et fermée manuellement. Ladite tabatière comprend une ou plusieurs charnières permettant son ouverture et sa fermeture et elle comprend en outre un ou plusieurs ressorts à gaz qui exercent une force constante contre la fenêtre poussant la fenêtre vers une position ouverte. La fenêtre est fermée pour surmonter la force de sollicitation exercée par les ressorts à gaz par enroulement d'un câble qui est relié à la fenêtre. Une seule roue de poulie qui est reliée mécaniquement à d'autres éléments mécaniques est utilisée rembobiner le câble afin de fermer la fenêtre et de déverrouiller dispositif de verrouillage de bobine pour permettre l'ouverture automatique de la fenêtre.
