A liner (1) for lining an aperture in sheet material such as plasterboard, the liner having (a) an annular ring (2) defining a hole (4) having a smaller diameter than an aperture to be lined; a slot (3) extending from the inner periphery (5) of the hole to the outer periphery (6) of the ring (2), so sized and shaped as to allow the liner (1) to be passed from one side of the aperture to the other. A lip (8) is optionally provided around the hole. Resiliently-deformable liners are also provided. Also provided are methods of repairing, reinforcing or re-sizing apertures in sheet materials.
La présente invention concerne un revêtement permettant de revêtir un orifice dans un matériau en feuille tel que le plâtre, le revêtement présentant (a) une bague annulaire définissant un trou ayant un diamètre plus petit qu'un orifice destiné à être revêtu; une fente s'étendant depuis la périphérie interne du trou jusqu'à la périphérie externe de la bague, dimensionnée et façonnée de manière à permettre au revêtement d'être passé d'un côté de l'orifice à l'autre. Une lèvre est éventuellement prévue autour du trou. La présente invention concerne également des revêtements déformables de manière élastique. La présente invention concerne également des procédés de réparation, de renforcement ou de redimensionnement d'orifices dans des matériaux en feuille.
