A system for stabilization of a shoreline comprising a sheet having an unfolded state and a folded state, the sheet comprising a first edge and a second opposing edge connected by a first end and a second end, the sheet comprising a first layer formed from a first degradable fabric and a second layer formed from a second degradable fabric, the sheet further comprising channels formed at each of the first edge and the second edge, the channels formed from one or more of the first and the second fabric, each of the channels comprising an anchor rope threaded therethrough, each of the channels comprising a plurality of openings, the anchor rope extends through the plurality of openings for securement to a shoreline surface by the anchor rope, and methods of using the same.

Cette invention concerne un système de stabilisation du littoral, comprenant une feuille présentant un état déplié et un état plié, la feuille comprenant un premier bord et un second bord opposé reliés par une première extrémité et une seconde extrémité, la feuille comprenant une première couche formée d'un premier tissu dégradable et une seconde couche formée d'un second tissu dégradable, la feuille comprenant en outre des canaux formés sur chacun d'entre le premier bord et le second bord, les canaux étant formés du premier et/ou du second tissu, chacun des canaux comprenant un câble d'ancrage fileté à travers celui-ci, chacun des canaux comportant une pluralité d'ouvertures, et le câble d'ancrage s'étendant à travers la pluralité d'ouvertures pour la fixation à une surface du littoral par le câble d'ancrage. L'invention concerne en outre des procédés d'utilisation dudit système.
