The application concerns a solar-still device that is worn on the head, specifically for emergency survival situations, with adaptations to facilitate other practical uses. The device comprises an air-tight, solar- radiation-permeable outer-shell which forms a bulbous greenhouse like structure over the head and where the lower circumferential edge of this outer-shell curls inward to form a broad headband that is intended to fit around a wide range of head sizes. A gully is formed between the outer-shell and the headband providing a natural gutter into which the product of the device will collect.
Cette invention concerne un dispositif distillateur solaire qui est porté sur la tête, spécifiquement pour des situations de survie en cas d'urgence, avec des adaptations pour faciliter d'autres utilisations pratiques. Ledit dispositif comprend une coque externe étanche à l'air, perméable au rayonnement solaire qui forme une structure bulbeuse de type serre sur la tête, le bord circonférentiel inférieur de ladite coque externe s'enroulant vers l'intérieur pour former un serre-tête large qui est destiné à s'adapter à une vaste gamme de tailles de tête. Une rigole est ménagée entre la coque externe et le serre-tête pour former une gouttière naturelle dans laquelle va s'accumuler le produit du dispositif.
