A joint compound tool (20) including a body having a first end (28), an opposing second end (30) and a handle (24). A blade portion (22) is attached to the first end of the body and a lid opener (24) is movably attached to the second end of the body, where the lid opener is movable between a storage position adjacent to the handle and an operative position away from the handle.

Une partie lame (22) est fixée à la première extrémité du corps, et un élément d'ouverture de couvercle (24) est fixé amovible à la seconde extrémité du corps, l'élément d'ouverture de couvercle étant mobile entre une position de stockage adjacente à la poignée et une position de fonctionnement éloignée de la poignée.
