The first purpose of the present invention is to provide an intermediate film which, for use in laminated glass, has excellent sound insulation and heat shielding, and to provide laminated glass. Further, the second purpose of the present invention is to provide an intermediate film which, for use in laminated glass, maintains sound insulation, weather resistance and thermal creep resistance at a high level even when thin. This intermediate film for laminated glass includes at least one A layer that contains thermoplastic elastomers, and, in the laminated glass formed by arranging the intermediate film for laminated glass between two clear glass sheets which have a total thickness of 4mm or less, the visible light transmittance is 70% or greater and the average infrared transmittance for wavelengths 800-1100nm is 72% or less.
