Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft ein Strangschloss (1) zur Sicherung von Gegenständen und einen Sicherungsstrang (3). Das Strangschloss (1) ist sehr widerstandsfähig und kann zudem sehr einfach und unkompliziert bedient werden. Es zeichnet sich durch eine hohe Flexibilität und geringes Gewicht gegenüber bekannten Kabelschlössern aus.
