Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf ein Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Werkzeugs umfassend einen Körper mit zumindest einem Diamant und/oder CBN enthaltenden und/oder aus diesem bestehenden arbeitendem Teil, und zeichnet sich dadurch aus, dass ein Schneidkörper als arbeitendes Teil sowie der Körper durch ein generatives Fertigungsverfahren von auf den Körper aufgetragenem schütt- und/oder fließfähigen Material bestehend aus oder enthaltend Matrixpartikel aus der Gruppe Metallpartikel, Keramikpartikel sowie aus Diamant und/oder CBN bestehenden Partikeln hergestellt wird.
