A METHOD OF MAKING TEXTURED CERAMICS
A method for making textured ceramics and the ceramics made thereby. The method comprises the steps of: (a) composition: mixing and drying the ingredients containing silicon nitride powder and sintering aids; (b) forming a green body: dry-pressing the dried powder through a steel die and then cold isostatic pressing to obtain a shaped body; (c) texturing the ceramic: making the green body flow in a one-dimensional or two-dimensional direction in order to achieve the high-performance ceramics with preferred grain arrangement and anisotropy growth by a flowing hot pressing sintering method.
L'invention concerne un procédé de fabrication de céramiques texturées et les céramiques ainsi fabriquées. Le procédé comprend les étapes consistant à : (a) composition : mélanger et sécher les ingrédients contenant de la poudre de nitrure de silicium et des auxiliaires de frittage ; (b) formation d'un corps cru : comprimer à sec la poudre séchée à travers une filière en acier et puis presser de manière isostatique à froid afin de d'obtenir un corps façonné ; (c) texture de la céramique : faire s'écouler le corps cru dans une direction à une dimension ou à deux dimensions de manière à obtenir les céramiques haute performance présentant un agencement de grain préféré et une croissance anisotropique par un procédé de frittage de pressage à chaud à écoulement.
