FLOOR UNDERLAYMENT FOR RETAINING HEATER CABLE
A membrane for decoupling heated flooring from a subfloor includes a flexible base and a plurality of projections formed into the base and extending outward from the base. Each projection of the plurality of projections has a perimeter wall defining a height of the projection and a top surface integral with the perimeter wait for supporting a flooring adhesive and/or for bearing a load when the heated flooring is installed. The projections have one flange portion extending from the perimeter wall and effective for retaining a heater cable within a channel formed between each pair of adjacent projections Each channel may have exactly one flange portion extending over it and forming an overhang for retaining heater cables of different diameters. The corresponding flange portions of adjacent projections do not face in the same direction or the opposite direction, providing for a minimum number of flange portions to be used.
L'invention concerne une membrane permettant le découplage d'un revêtement de sol chauffé et d'un sous-revêtement, et comprenant une base souple et une pluralité de protubérances formées dans la base et s'étendant vers l'extérieur depuis la base. Chaque protubérance de la pluralité de protubérances présente une paroi périphérique définissant une hauteur de la protubérance et une surface supérieure formant un seul bloc avec la paroi périphérique pour supporter un adhésif de revêtement de sol et/ou pour supporter une charge lorsque le revêtement de sol chauffé est installé. Les protubérances possèdent une partie bride qui s'étend depuis la paroi périphérique et qui permet de retenir un câble chauffant dans un canal formé entre chaque paire de protubérances adjacentes. Chaque canal peut avoir exactement une partie bride s'étendant au-dessus de lui et formant un surplomb pour retenir des câbles chauffants ayant différents diamètres. Les parties brides correspondantes de protubérances adjacentes ne sont pas tournées dans la même direction ou dans une direction opposée, ce qui permet de réduire à un minimum le nombre de parties brides à utiliser.
