This composite wall (10; 20; 30) is designed to, in service, be attached to a bearing structure (110; 110') of a building (B) by fixing to a constituent part (111; 11') of the bearing structure. It comprises an insulating layer (13; 23; 33) which is rigid or semirigid and which has first (13E; 23E) and second (13I; 23I) opposite faces so that when the composite wall is in service, the first face of the insulating layer faces away from the constituent element of the bearing structure and the second face of the insulating layer faces towards this constituent element. It further comprises at least one structural insert (15; 25; 35) which is arranged in the insulating layer and which connects to one another first and second edge faces (10B, 10D) of the composite wall, which are opposite and parallel to one another, so that when the composite wall is in service, the or each insert extends substantially horizontally between these first and second edge faces and is designed to, at any point of its horizontal extent, be engaged by a fixing element (140) for fixing to the constituent element of the bearing structure. In addition, part of the insulating layer (13; 23; 33) is interposed, in the direction of the thickness of the composite wall, between the or each insert (15; 25; 35) and the first face (13E; 23E) of the insulating layer so that when the composite wall (10; 20; 30) is in service, no thermal bridge is created between the first and second faces of the insulating layer.
Cette paroi composite (10; 20; 30) est prévue pour, en service, être rapportée à une structure porteuse (110; 110') d'un bâtiment (B) par fixation à un constituant (111; 11') de la structure porteuse. Elle comporte une couche d'isolation (13; 23; 33), qui est rigide ou semi-rigide et qui présente des première (13E; 23E) et seconde (13I; 23I) faces opposées de sorte que, lorsque la paroi composite est en service, la première face de la couche d'isolation est tournée à l'opposé du constituant de la structure porteuse et la seconde face de la couche d'isolation est tournée vers ce constituant. Elle comporte en outre au moins un insert structurel (15; 25; 35) qui est agencé dans la couche d'isolation et qui relie l'un à l'autre des premier et second chants (10B, 10D) de la paroi composite, qui sont opposés et parallèles l'un à l'autre, de sorte que, lorsque la paroi composite est en service, le ou chaque insert s'étend sensiblement à l'horizontale entre ces premier et second chants et est adapté pour, en tout point de son étendue horizontale, être engagé par un élément (140) de fixation au constituant de la structure porteuse. De plus, une partie de la couche d'isolation (13; 23; 33) est interposée, dans la direction de l'épaisseur de la paroi composite, entre le ou chaque insert (15; 25; 35) et la première face (13E; 23E) de la couche d'isolation de manière que, lorsque la paroi composite (10; 20; 30) est en service, aucun pont thermique n'est créé entre les première et seconde faces de la couche d'isolation.
