ASSEMBLY AND METHOD FOR INSTALLING A SUBSEA CABLE
An assembly (400) for installing a subsea cable (304), the assembly comprising a submersible apparatus (200) and a submersible cable holder (300) comprising the subsea cable, the subsea cable being connectable to the submersible apparatus through a connector (202) for transmission of electric power and/or data to the submersible apparatus; wherein the assembly is configured to install the subsea cable while the submersible apparatus is electrically powered through said subsea cable. And a method for installing a subsea cable (304) with a submersible apparatus (200), the method comprising: supplying electric power and/or transmitting data through the subsea cable to the submersible apparatus; and laying the subsea cable in a sea with the submersible apparatus.
La présente invention concerne un ensemble (400) permettant d'installer un câble sous-marin (304), l'ensemble comprenant un appareil submersible (200) et un support de câble submersible (300) comprenant le câble sous-marin, le câble sous-marin pouvant être relié à l'appareil submersible par l'intermédiaire d'un connecteur (202) pour transmettre de l'énergie électrique et/ou des données à l'appareil submersible ; l'ensemble est configuré pour installer le câble sous-marin tandis que l'appareil submersible est alimenté électriquement par l'intermédiaire dudit câble sous-marin. L'invention porte également sur un procédé d'installation d'un câble sous-marin (304) à l'aide d'un appareil submersible (200), le procédé consistant : à fournir de l'énergie électrique et/ou à transmettre des données par l'intermédiaire du câble sous-marin à l'appareil submersible ; et à poser le câble sous-marin dans une mer à l'aide de l'appareil submersible.
