Provided is a lower roller (10) comprising a roller shell (11), a first retainer (14a), a second retainer (14b), a first holding ring (15a), and a second holding ring (15b). The first retainer (14a) is press fitted to the outer periphery of a shaft (12) and brought into contact with a first end surface (S4) of the roller shell (11). The second retainer (14b) is press fitted to the outer periphery of the shaft (12) and brought into contact with a second end surface (S5) of the roller shell (11). The first holding ring (15a) is mounted to the outer periphery of the shaft (12) at a position outside the first retainer (14a), and affixes the first retainer (14a). The second holding ring (15b) is mounted to the outer periphery of the shaft (12), and affixes the second retainer (14b).
