The location system comprises a telemeter adapted to chart the position of the vehicle (30) with respect to pre-established topological markers on the ground. The recording system is configured to deduce the position of the place of siting of the beacon on the basis of an initial position measured by means of the telemeter and of the displacements, measured by the odometer, up to the place of siting.
Le véhicule (30) d'installation de balises sur une voie ferroviaire, comprend : - une pluralité de balises, comportant un système de radio-identification; - un odomètre, adapté pour mesurer les déplacements du véhicule (30); - un système de localisation, adapté pour localiser le véhicule (30) avec précision; et - un dispositif (40) automatique d'installation des balises; Le véhicule (30) comprend également : - un système d'enregistrement, configuré pour enregistrer l'emplacement de pose de la balise. Le système de localisation comprend un télémètre adapté pour relever la position du véhicule (30) par rapport à des repères topologiques préétablis au sol. Le système d'enregistrement est configuré pour déduire la position de l'emplacement de pose de la balise à partir d'une position initiale mesurée au moyen du télémètre et des déplacements jusqu'à l'emplacement de pose mesurés par l'odomètre.
