A dwelling space proposition system (100) is provided with: a first acquisition unit (101) for acquiring preference-related information that pertains to preferences for a dwelling space; a determination unit (102) for deriving a dwelling space to be proposed from the acquired preference-related information in accordance with a dwelling space determination rule and thereby determining the dwelling space to be proposed, or randomly determining the dwelling space to be proposed; an output unit (103) for outputting dwelling space information that indicates the determined dwelling space; a second acquisition unit (104) for acquiring the degree of liking for the determined dwelling space; and an update unit (105) for updating the dwelling space determination rule in accordance with the determined dwelling space and the acquired degree of liking; the determination unit (102) selecting, with probability ε, to randomly determine the dwelling space to be proposed at random.
