A support structure for a caravan awning for attaching to a side of a caravan. The support structure has a plurality of inflatable bladders, each connected via a flexible pipe so as to fluidly connect the flexible pipe and the plurality of inflatable bladders. The flexible pipe is configured to run along the side of the caravan when in use. Each of the plurality of inflatable bladders is spaced apart and extends away from the flexible pipe. The flexible pipe remains flexible and each of the plurality of inflatable bladders becomes substantially rigid when the flexible pipe and the plurality of inflatable bladders are filled with compressed gas.Also, an awning having an awning material and the support, where the support structure provides structural support for the awning material.
Cette invention concerne une structure de support pour un auvent de caravane destiné à être fixé à un côté d'une caravane. La structure de support a une pluralité de poches gonflables dont chacune est raccordée par l'intermédiaire d'un tuyau flexible de façon à établir une communication fluidique entre le tuyau flexible et la pluralité de poches gonflables. Le tuyau flexible est configuré pour s'étendre le long du côté de la caravane lors de l'utilisation. Chacune de la pluralité de poches gonflables est espacée et s'étend à l'opposé du tuyau flexible. Le tuyau flexible reste flexible et chaque poche gonflable de la pluralité de poches gonflables devient sensiblement rigide lorsque le tuyau flexible et la pluralité de poches gonflables sont remplis d'un gaz comprimé. L'invention concerne en outre un auvent ayant un matériau d'auvent et le support, la structure de support fournissant un support structural pour le matériau d'auvent.
