PROTECTION OF AN AUTOMATIC TELLER MACHINE
This invention relates to the protection of an automatic teller machine (hereinafter an ATM) (10) against unauthorised access, tampering or attempted unauthorised access. There is provided a protective system including a house (12), a door (16) which provides access to the housing or to an interior of the housing and at least one banknote containing cartridge (20) which is insertable into or which engaged with the housing with the cartridge then being locatable at an operative position. A sensing arrangement which produces an output signal upon detecting at least one of the following : unauthorised movement of the cartridge from the operative position (28); irregular door movement (40); or wherein the control unit, in response to the output signal, initiates actuation of the mechanism.
L'invention concerne la protection d'un guichet automatique bancaire (dénommé ci-après ATM) (10) contre un accès non autorisé, une altération ou une tentative d'accès non autorisé. L'invention concerne un système de protection comprenant un boîtier (12), une porte (16) donnant accès au boîtier ou à un intérieur du boîtier, ainsi qu'au moins une cartouche contenant des billets de banque (20) qui peut être insérée dans le boîtier ou qui vient en prise avec le boîtier, la cartouche pouvant alors être placée dans une position fonctionnelle. Un système de détection produit un signal de sortie lors de la détection d'au moins l'un des éléments suivants : un mouvement non autorisé de la cartouche à partir de la position fonctionnelle (28) ; un mouvement de porte irrégulier (40) ; l'actionnement du mécanisme déclenchée par l'unité de commande en réponse au signal de sortie.
