The present invention relates to a method of producing a frame member for a window or a door, the method comprising the steps of providing a sheet of metal, rollforming the sheet of metal into a frame shell having a predetermined profile, introducing a foaming material into the frame shell, and arranging the frame shell in a calibration tube until the foam material has set. The sheet of metal has a thickness of 0.25 mm or less. The present invention further relates to a frame member, a frame structure and use of such frame member.
La présente invention concerne un procédé de fabrication d'un élément de cadre pour une fenêtre ou une porte, le procédé comprenant les étapes consistant à utiliser une feuille de métal, à profiler la feuille de métal en une enveloppe de cadre présentant un profil prédéterminé, à introduire un matériau moussant dans l'enveloppe de cadre et à agencer l'enveloppe de cadre dans un tube d'étalonnage jusqu'à ce que le matériau de mousse ait durci. La feuille de métal présente une épaisseur de 0,25 mm ou moins. La présente invention concerne en outre un élément de cadre, une structure de cadre et l'utilisation d'un tel élément de cadre.
