SHOWER DOOR HINGE ASSEMBLY
A hinge assembly (100), for a shower door comprising a first panel (102) rotatably connected to a second panel (104), comprises a first hinge member (106) having a first body portion (118a) for attachment to the first panel and a first neck portion (116a), the first hinge member being arranged to allow rotation of the first panel with respect to the second panel about a hinge axis. The first body portion (118a) is arranged to be connected to the first panel (102) so as to lie at least partially within a recessed region thereof, such that the hinge axis lies within a footprint of the first panel. The hinge assembly further comprises a second hinge member 108 having a second body portion (118b) for attachment to the second panel such that the hinge axis lies outside a footprint of the second panel 104, and a second neck portion (116b) arranged to be rotatably connected to the first neck portion to allow the rotation. The neck portions are narrower than the body portions and shaped to prevent the hinge members (106), (108) from colliding as the panels (102, 104) rotate.
La présente invention concerne un ensemble charnière (100) pour une porte de douche comprenant un premier panneau (102) raccordé de façon rotative à un second panneau (104), ledit ensemble comprenant un premier élément de charnière (106) ayant une première partie corps (118a) destinée à être fixée au premier panneau et une première partie col (116a), le premier élément de charnière étant conçu pour permettre la rotation du premier panneau par rapport au second panneau autour d'un axe de charnière. La première partie corps (118a) est conçue pour être raccordée au premier panneau (102) de façon à se trouver au moins partiellement à l'intérieur d'une région évidée de celui-ci, de telle sorte que l'axe de charnière se trouve à l'intérieur d'une empreinte du premier panneau. L'ensemble charnière comprend en outre un second élément de charnière (108) ayant une seconde partie corps (118b) conçue pour une fixation au second panneau de telle sorte que l'axe de charnière se trouve à l'extérieur d'une empreinte du second panneau (104), et une seconde partie col (116b) conçue pour être raccordée de façon rotative à la première partie col pour permettre la rotation. Les parties col sont plus étroites que les parties corps et façonnées pour empêcher les éléments de charnière (106, 108) de se heurter lorsque les les panneaux (102, 104) sont en rotation.
