A shower base attachment (10) comprising an internally threaded substantially cylindrical sleeve (20) extending normal to a general plane of the shower base (40), the attachment including: a recess (48) forming an entrance in an upper region of an outlet (46) of the shower base; an externally threaded cylindrical insert (50) receivable within the sleeve whereby the insert is axially moveable within the sleeve, the insert adapted to receive a grate support (62) having a downwardly depending skirt (66) engageable with the upper periphery (52) of the insert and is received within the space defined by the recess, the grate support (62) overlapping part or all of the recess such that at least part of the support extends laterally beyond the footprint of the recess, wherein any leakage between the shower base and the grate support is diverted internally of the sleeve.
La présente invention concerne une fixation de bac de douche (10) qui comprend un manchon sensiblement cylindrique à filetage interne (20) s'étendant perpendiculairement à un plan général du bac de douche (40), la fixation comprenant : un renfoncement (48) formant une entrée dans une région supérieure d'une sortie (46) du bac de douche ; une garniture intérieure cylindrique à filetage externe (50) pouvant être reçue à l'intérieur du manchon, grâce à quoi la garniture intérieure est mobile de façon axiale à l'intérieur du manchon, la garniture intérieure étant conçue pour recevoir un support de grille (62) ayant une jupe dépendante vers le bas (66) pouvant venir en prise avec la périphérie supérieure (52) de la garniture intérieure et étant reçu à l'intérieur de l'espace délimité par le renfoncement, le support de grille (62) chevauchant en partie ou totalement le renfoncement de telle sorte qu'au moins une partie du support s'étend latéralement au-delà de l'empreinte du renfoncement, toute fuite entre le bac de douche et le support de grille étant déviée à l'intérieur du manchon.
