EXTERIOR ENGINEERED WOOD DECK SYSTEM
A system for constructing a deck using engineered wood products, including, but not limited to, structural composite lumber (SCL). Deck boards may be formed from a plurality of veneer layers treated with fire protection treatments, preservatives and/or other chemical treatments, which may be specific to a particular veneer layer, and assembled with adhesives binding the layers together in a stack, resulting in a deck board with unique properties in aggregate. The veneer layers directly adjacent to the two outer face layers may be positioned so that the direction of the wood grain is cross-directional to the direction of the wood grain in the surface layers. The boards are also subject to a multi-layer surface finishing treatment with aesthetic components and a protective component.
Système de construction d'un pont à l'aide de produits en bois modifiés, comprenant, mais sans s'y limiter, un bois d'oeuvre composite structural (SCL). Des planches de pont peuvent être formées à partir d'une pluralité de couches de placage traitées par des traitements de protection contre l'incendie, des conservateurs et/ou d'autres traitements chimiques, qui peuvent être spécifiques à une couche de placage particulière, et assemblées à l'aide d'adhésifs liant les couches ensemble en une pile, ce qui permet d'obtenir une planche de pont ayant des propriétés uniques dans l'ensemble. Les couches de placage directement adjacentes aux deux couches de face extérieures peuvent être positionnées de telle sorte que la direction du grain de bois est transversale à la direction du grain de bois dans les couches de surface. Les planches sont également soumises à un traitement de finition de surface multicouche avec des composants esthétiques et un composant de protection.
