The invention relates to an industrial chimney (10) for discharging a flue gas into the atmosphere, the chimney (10) comprising a substrate (26) defining an upright flow channel(12) having an inlet (14) and an outlet (16) at its upper end (18), the substrate (26) being provided with an inner lining comprising closed-cell glass blocks (32), attached to said substrate (26) with use of an adhesive (34) and optionally a primer (30), wherein the flow through area of the upright flow channel (12) is increased in size in the upper part (36) of the upright flow channel (12) in the direction of the outlet (16).
L'invention concerne une cheminée industrielle (10) permettant d'évacuer un gaz de combustion dans l'atmosphère, la cheminée (10) comprenant un substrat (26) définissant un canal d'écoulement vertical (12) ayant une entrée (14) et une sortie (16) au niveau de son extrémité supérieure (18), le substrat (26) étant pourvu d'un revêtement interne comprenant des blocs de verre à alvéoles fermées (32), fixés audit substrat (26) à l'aide d'un adhésif (34) et éventuellement d'un apprêt (30), la taille de la zone de passage d'écoulement du canal d'écoulement vertical (12) étant augmentée dans la partie supérieure (36) du canal d'écoulement vertical (12) dans la direction de la sortie (16).
