ARTIFICIAL TURF MAT AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURE THEREOF
The invention relates to an artificial turf mat comprising a woven backing and a number of artificial grass blades connected thereto. The woven backing comprises a leno weave of warp and weft threads wherein at least some of the warp threads and/or some of the weft threads are formed by melting threads. The artificial grass blades are woven into the woven backing. Each melting thread can comprise a temperature-resistant thread core and a meltable coating surrounding the thread core. The invention further relates to a method for manufacturing an artificial turf mat by weaving a backing and connecting a number of artificial grass blades thereto, wherein the backing is woven by interweaving a number of warp and weft threads by means of leno weaving, wherein at least some of the interwoven threads are formed by melting threads and wherein artificial grass blades are woven into the woven backing.
Tapis de gazon artificiel comprenant un support tissé et un certain nombre de brins d'herbe artificielle reliés à celui-ci. Le support tissé comprend une armure gaze de fils de chaîne et de trame, au moins certains des fils de chaîne et/ou certains des fils de trame étant formés par des fils de fusion. Les brins d'herbe artificielle sont tissés dans le support tissé. Chaque fil de fusion peut comprendre une âme de fil résistant à la température et un revêtement fusible entourant l'âme de fil. L'invention concerne en outre un procédé de fabrication d'un tapis de gazon artificiel par tissage d'un support et liaison d'un certain nombre de brins d'herbe artificielle à celui-ci, le support étant tissé par entrelacement d'un certain nombre de fils de chaîne et de trame au moyen d'une armure gaze, au moins certains des fils entrelacés étant formés par des fils de fusion et des brins d'herbe artificielle étant tissés dans le support tissé.
