STACKABLE EXPANSION JOINT FRAME ASSEMBLY
A system for attaching a flexible expansion joint to the surface of a building such as the floor of a building. The system for attaching the joint is configured to secure the joint and provide, in effect, a form up to which a top coat of material such as concrete or asphalt can applied over an existing floor structure. The system provides a universal base unit upon which common extension units can be attached and stacked to vary the height of the form for the surface coat.
L'invention concerne un système de fixation d'un joint de dilatation flexible à la surface d'un bâtiment tel que le plancher d'un bâtiment. Le système de fixation du joint est configuré pour fixer le joint et fournir, en application, une forme jusqu'à laquelle un revêtement supérieur de matériau tel que du béton ou de l'asphalte peut être appliqué sur une structure de sol existante. Le système fournit une unité de base universelle sur laquelle des unités d'extension courantes peuvent être fixées et empilées afin de faire varier la hauteur de la forme pour le revêtement de surface.
