The present invention concerns a covering system (1; 101) for covering a surface (3; 103), comprising a covering element (2; 20; 102) designed to be applied to the surface (3; 103) through a mutual magnetic adhesion force between the surface (3; 103) and the covering element (2; 20; 102). The system (1; 101) comprises magnetic material (4; 24) associated with one between the surface (3; 103) and the covering element (2; 20; 102) and comprises magnetic material (4; 24) or ferromagnetic material (8) associated with the other one between the surface (3; 103) and the covering element (2; 20; 102). The magnetic material (4; 24) is associated with the surface (3; 103) and/or with the covering element (2; 20; 102) by means of a double-sided adhesive tape.
