LOST FORMWORK CLADDING AND CONNECTOR AND METHOD OF USING SAME
A connector (4) for securing a formwork panel (3) of a kind having first connection formations at a fixed distance from a predetermined boundary, the connector including: a compression resistant spacer and tensile tie element having a first end and a second end defining a spacer depth there between; one or more second connection formations extending from said first end for securing the connector to said first connection formations on the formwork panel; and means at the second end for securing to said predetermined boundary. In one form the connector is configured to secure such panels to a prefabricated reinforcement cage (2), and in another form to secure a first wall of interconnected panels to an opposing set of interconnected panels to form a formwork for a wall. The connectors may also be adapted to retain reinforcement rods within the wall. Preferably each panel has one or more indentations configured to engage with protuberances provided at an adjacent end of the connectors. The slots may be T/shaped to receive and retain outwardly extending protuberances on the connectors.
Cette invention concerne un raccord (4) pour fixer un panneau de coffrage (3) d'un type ayant de premières formations de liaison à une distance fixe d'une limite prédéfinie, le raccord comprenant : un élément d'espacement résistant à la compression et un élément d'attache de traction ayant une première extrémité et une seconde extrémité définissant entre celles-ci une profondeur d'élément d'espacement ; une ou plusieurs secondes formations de liaison s'étendant à partir de ladite première extrémité pour fixer le raccord auxdites premières formations de liaison sur le panneau de coffrage ; et des moyens sur la seconde extrémité pour une fixation à ladite limite prédéfinie. Selon un mode de réalisation, le raccord est configuré pour fixer de tels panneaux à une cage d'armature préfabriquée (2), et selon un autre mode de réalisation pour fixer une première paroi de panneaux interconnectés à un ensemble opposé de panneaux interconnectés afin de former un coffrage pour un mur. Les raccords peuvent également être adaptés pour retenir des barres d'armature à l'intérieur du mur. De préférence, chaque panneau a une ou plusieurs indentations configurées pour venir en prise avec des protubérances disposées à une extrémité adjacente des raccords. Les fentes peuvent être en forme de T pour recevoir et retenir des protubérances s'étendant vers l'extérieur sur les raccords.
