THREAT DETECTION AND SECURITY ENTRYWAY SYSTEM
An entryway system has at least one door having access hardware on both sides. The access hardware on both sides each have a first handing position that operates a latch and a second handing position that prevents latch operation. In response to a sensed condition, such as a trigger from a metal detector or other sensing device, one or both of the access hardware can be selectively re-handed from the first handing position to the second handing position.
L'invention concerne un système d'entrée comprenant au moins une porte ayant un matériel d'accès sur les deux côtés. Le matériel d'accès sur les deux côtés possède sur chacun une première position de manipulation qui fait fonctionner un verrou et une seconde position de transfert qui empêche le fonctionnement du verrou. En réponse à une condition détectée, telle qu'un déclencheur à partir d'un détecteur de métal ou d'un autre dispositif de détection, un ou les deux matériels d'accès peuvent être transférés de manière sélective de la première position de transfert à la seconde position de transfert.
