MOULDED ARTICLE AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURE THEREOF
A method of manufacture of a moulded article (10) is described, the method comprising the steps of moulding a body (12) from a plastics material whilst the plastics material is at an elevated temperature, the body (12) including an opening or recess, moulding a component (16) to be secured to the body (12), the component (16) including a projection including a stem and a head section that projects laterally from the stem, whilst the plastics material of the body (12) is still at an elevated temperature, introducing the projection into the opening or recess, at least part of the plastics material surrounding the opening or recess being temporarily resiliently deformed by the introduction of the projection into the opening or recess, and allowing the plastics material of the body (12) to cool to ambient temperature. A moulded article manufactured according to the method is also described.
L'invention concerne un procédé de fabrication d'un article moulé (10), le procédé comprenant les étapes consistant à mouler un corps (12) à partir d'une matière plastique tandis que la matière plastique est à une température élevée, le corps (12) comprenant une ouverture ou un évidement ; à mouler un élément (16) à fixer au corps (12), l'élément (16) comprenant une saillie comprenant une tige et une section de tête qui fait saillie latéralement à partir de la tige, tandis que la matière plastique du corps (12) est toujours à une température élevée ; à introduire la saillie dans l'ouverture ou dans l'évidement, au moins une partie de la matière plastique entourant l'ouverture ou l'évidement étant temporairement déformée élastiquement par l'introduction de la saillie dans l'ouverture ou dans l'évidement ; et à permettre à la matière plastique du corps (12) de refroidir jusqu'à la température ambiante. L'invention concerne également un article moulé fabriqué selon le procédé.

L'invention concerne un procédé de fabrication d'un article moulé (10), le procédé comprenant les étapes consistant à mouler un corps (12) à partir d'une matière plastique tandis que la matière plastique est à une température élevée, le corps (12) comprenant une ouverture ou un évidement ; à mouler un élément (16) à fixer au corps (12), l'élément (16) comprenant une saillie comprenant une tige et une section de tête qui fait saillie latéralement à partir de la tige, tandis que la matière plastique du corps (12) est toujours à une température élevée ; à introduire la saillie dans l'ouverture ou dans l'évidement, au moins une partie de la matière plastique entourant l'ouverture ou l'évidement étant temporairement déformée élastiquement par l'introduction de la saillie dans l'ouverture ou dans l'évidement ; et à permettre à la matière plastique du corps (12) de refroidir jusqu'à la température ambiante. L'invention concerne également un article moulé fabriqué selon le procédé.
