P16 POSITIVE TUMOR STRATIFICATION ASSAYS AND METHODS
Described herein are assays and methods to detect and/or treat a non-responsive or treatment resistant p16 positive tumor in a subject in need thereof. The disclosed method can also involve determining if the subject is HPV positive or negative, whether the HPV is integrated or episomal, and selecting a suitable treatment based on these determinations. Also disclosed herein is a method of treating an oropharyngeal squamous cell carcinoma in a subject using the arrays and methods disclosed herein.
L'invention concerne des analyses et des méthodes pour détecter et/ou traiter une tumeur positive p16 non sensible au traitement ou résistante à celui-ci, chez un sujet en ayant besoin. Selon l'invention, cette méthode peut également consister à déterminer si le sujet est VPH positif ou négatif, que le VPH soit intégré ou épisomiquel, et à sélectionner un traitement approprié sur la base de ces déterminations. L'invention concerne également une méthode de traitement d'un carcinome épidermoïde oropharyngé chez un sujet à l'aide des analyses et méthodes de l'invention.
