Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren und eine Vorrichtung zum Erstellen eines Gründungselementes im Boden, wobei ein Loch im Boden gebildet wird, welches zum Bilden des Gründungselementes mit einer aushärtbaren Füllmasse verfüllt wird. Gemäß der Erfindung ist vorgesehen, dass vor dem Aushärten der Füllmasse ein Datenträger in das Loch eingebracht wird, auf welchem Informationen zum erstellten Gründungselement gespeichert werden.
