METHOD FOR CONSTRUCTING FLOATING STRUCTURE
First floating blocks (2B, 2D) each have a side surface that is formed into a first slanted surface (47) facing obliquely upward and that is to be joined to a second floating block (2C), and the second floating block (2C) has side surfaces that are formed into second slanted surfaces (57, 58) facing obliquely downward and that are to be joined to the first floating blocks (2B, 2D). The second floating block installation process includes: a second floating block higher-position placement step for placing the second floating block (2C) above the first floating blocks (2B, 2D) such that the second slanted surfaces (57, 58) are positioned above the first slanted surfaces (47); a second floating block lowering step for lowering the second floating block (2C) to a position where the first slanted surfaces (47) and the second slanted surfaces (57, 58) oppose each other; and a floating block joining step for joining the first floating blocks (2B, 2D) and the second floating block (2C).
