A TELESCOPIC EDGE PROTECTION POST
The invention relates to a telescopic edge protection post (1) arrangeable between a floor and a ceiling, the telescopic edge protection post comprising an outer tube (2) comprising a bottom end (3) and a top end (6), an inner tube (4) comprising a bottom end (5) and a top end (8), the inner tube extending into the outer tube and being movable with respect thereto between an extended position and a collapsed position. The edge protection post further comprises a locking mechanism (10) arranged to lock the inner tube with respect to the outer tube in the extended position, and a tensioning unit (20) arranged at the top end of the inner tube, the tensioning unit comprising a tensioning element having a primary tensioning portion and a secondary tensioning portion, wherein tensioning of the secondary tensioning portion requires a lower force than tensioning of the primary tensioning portion, allowing tensioning of the secondary tensioning portion by means of extending the telescopic edge protection post by hand into engagement with the floor and the ceiling. Further, the primary and secondary tensioning portions each comprises a compression spring. There is thus provided an edge protection post which is both easy and safe to mount.
La présente invention concerne un montant de protection de bord télescopique (1) qui peut être disposé entre un plancher et un plafond, le montant de protection de bord télescopique comprenant un tube extérieur (2) qui comprend une extrémité inférieure (3) et une extrémité supérieure (6), un tube intérieur (4) qui comprend une extrémité inférieure (5) et une extrémité supérieure (8), le tube intérieur s'étendant dans le tube extérieur et étant mobile par rapport à celui-ci entre une position étendue et une position aplatie. Le montant de protection de bord comprend en outre un mécanisme de verrouillage (10) agencé pour verrouiller le tube intérieur par rapport au tube extérieur dans la position étendue, et une unité de tension (20) disposée à l'extrémité supérieure du tube intérieur, l'unité de tension comprenant un élément de tension qui a une partie de tension primaire et une partie de tension secondaire, la tension de la partie de tension secondaire nécessitant une force inférieure à la tension de la partie de tension primaire, ce qui permet la tension de la partie de tension secondaire au moyen de l'extension du montant de protection de bord télescopique, à la main, pour entrer en prise avec le sol et le plafond. En outre, les parties de tension primaire et secondaire comprennent chacune un ressort de compression. Un montant de protection de bord qui est à la fois facile et sûr à monter peut ainsi être obtenu.
