Bereitgestellt wird eine Steuereinrichtung zum automatischen, adaptiven Öffnen einer Heckklappe eines Fahrzeugs, wobei die Steuereinrichtung dazu eingerichtet ist, Umgebungsdaten über eine Umgebung des Fahrzeugs zu empfangen und/oder zu erfassen, und daraus ein oder mehrere potentiell zum Erreichen einer Parkposition anfahrbare Gebäude zu bestimmen, und daraufhin Daten über vorhandene Deckenhöhen in dem oder den potentiell anfahrbaren Gebäuden von einer externen Quelle oder aus einem internen Speicher abzufragen. Ferner ist sie eingerichtet, zu erfassen, dass tatsächlich ein Gebäude angefahren wird und welches Gebäude angefahren wird, und daraufhin abhängig von dem angefahrenen Gebäude und basierend auf den abgefragten Daten eine automatische Öffnung der Heckklappe zu unterdrücken oder einen maximalen Öffnungswinkel beim automatischen Öffnen der Heckklappe vorzugeben, welcher geringer ist als die vorhandene Deckenhöhe.
What is provided is a control device for automatically adaptively opening a tailgate of a vehicle, wherein the control device is configured so as to receive and/or record surroundings data about surroundings of the vehicle and to determine therefrom one or more buildings potentially able to be approached in order to reach a parking position, and then to request data about existing ceiling heights in the building or buildings potentially able to be approached from an external source or from an internal memory. It is furthermore configured so as to record that a building is actually being approached and which building is being approached, and then to suppress automatic opening of the tailgate or to predefine a maximum opening angle, lower than the existing ceiling height, when automatically opening the tailgate, depending on the building being approached and based on the requested data.
