A spacing apparatus (10) for creating a properly dimensioned gap during the installation of a flooring system, the spacing apparatus including a first element (20) having a non-adjustable width (W) corresponding to an intended gap width, the first element extending in a first direction and joined to a projection element, the first direction and the projection element being generally perpendicular to each other, the projection element having a first portion (16) having a non-adjustable width (T-1) corresponding to an intended gap width measured from a surface (14) of the projection element in a direction parallel to the direction of the first element (20) the projection element having a second portion (18) having a non-adjustable width (T-2) corresponding to an intended gap width measured from a surface (14) of the projection element in a direction parallel to the direction of the first element (20), wherein each of said intended gaps has a different width and wherein a gap is provided between a flooring plank (46, 47) and a vertical surface (44, 53).
La présente invention concerne un espaceur (10) permettant de créer un espace correctement dimensionné pendant l'installation d'un système de revêtement de sol, l'espaceur comprenant un premier élément (20) ayant une largeur non réglable (W) correspondant à une largeur d'intervalle prévue, le premier élément s'étendant dans une première direction et relié à un élément de projection, la première direction et l'élément de projection étant généralement perpendiculaires l'un à l'autre, l'élément de projection comportant une première partie (16) ayant une largeur (T-1) non réglable correspondant à une largeur d'intervalle prévue mesurée à partir d'une surface (14) de l'élément de projection dans une direction parallèle à la direction du premier élément (20), l'élément de projection comportant une seconde partie (18) ayant une largeur (T-2) non réglable correspondant à une largeur d'intervalle prévue mesurée à partir d'une surface (14) de l'élément de projection dans une direction parallèle à la direction du premier élément (20), chacun desdits espaces destinés ayant une largeur différente et un espace étant prévu entre une planche de revêtement de sol (46, 47) et une surface verticale (44, 53).
