CARBONATION OF CONCRETE AGGREGATES
Provided herein are methods and compositions for carbonation of recycled concrete aggregates (RCA) to produce carbonated RCA. In addition, uses of the carbonated RCA, such as in building materials, and building materials containing RCA, are included. Carbonation of RCA may be used alone or may be used in combination with other carbonation processes associated with concrete manufacture, such as carbonation of wet concrete mixes and/or carbonation of concrete wash water.
L'invention concerne des procédés et des compositions pour la carbonatation de granulats de béton recyclé (RCA) pour produire des RCA carbonatés. De plus, l'invention concerne des utilisations des RCA carbonatés, comme dans des matériaux de construction, et des matériaux de construction contenant les RCA. La carbonatation des RCA peut être utilisée seule ou peut être utilisée en combinaison avec d'autres procédés de carbonatation associés à la fabrication de béton, tels que la carbonatation de mélanges de béton fluide et/ou la carbonatation d'eau de lavage du béton.
