Embodiments relate to an enhanced method for installing vegetation on sloped roofs or walls by incorporating waterproofing and support for vegetation in the same shingle avoiding the need for a separate waterproofing membrane. The design is for a roofing shingle that can be made out of any water resistant plastic, plastic composite, metal or material with a reasonably low coefficient of thermal expansion. The shingle has an exposure that has a box for supporting drainage media, soil and vegetation and installs in a traditional method with a nail gun and with the normal head-lap for weatherproofing.
Des modes de réalisation de l'invention concernent un procédé amélioré d'installation de végétation sur des toits ou des murs inclinés par incorporation d'imperméabilisation et de support pour la végétation dans le même bardeau, ce qui évite d'avoir recours à une membrane d'imperméabilisation séparée. La conception est destinée à un bardeau de toiture qui peut être fabriqué à partir de n'importe quel plastique, composite plastique, métal ou matériau résistant à l'eau ayant un coefficient de dilatation thermique raisonnablement faible. Le bardeau a une exposition qui a une boîte pour supporter des milieux de drainage, de la terre et de la végétation et s'installe selon un procédé traditionnel avec un pistolet à clous et avec la couverture frontale normale pour l'imperméabilisation.
